| Yes, really I like anything with good musicianship, a good message, or just something really catchy. Like I love Daath because they're great musicians, yet I'll listen to Flobots because I like their message, and I listen to random stuff like old Green Day (Brain Stew, the really old stuff) because its catchy. But yea, I like industrial metal.

| Yea I'm loving this place I've been going to, been going every Friday for a while now, tons of local bands, and every now and then on Saturdays they'll have big bands, most notably so far, Nine Inch Nails, The Misfits, and Michael Graves. Going to have 5 or so local metal/hard rock bands this weekend in celebration of Kenny Rodger's birthday (a drummer for a local hard rock band called Corrupted), should be pretty cool.

| Einstürzende Neubauten. Five german guys in suits playing industrial music with mechanical installations, sheet-iron and oil drums as percussion.
The bassist uses a dildo and a loop-pedal to make some really unique sounding beats.
The singer can scream like an animal, which he loops and uses through out songs.
Etc.. the band is truly unique, and at the same time make really advanced music.

| Oh god. I used to live in a redneck area. God damnit those guys can be so stereotypical. Kids driving around in their tractors.
I used to hear it from some of them. Long hair don`t go well with simple minds. Remember one time when I played a theater of tradegy(goth-metal) record. Damn rednecks looked at me like I had a social disorder. Love hearing from those guys now. Most of them have kids, that will probbly end up just as dysfunctional. Jokes on them. End mini-vent

| Lol, here they're just like that, but there's also a huge abundance of pot heads and wiggers to join them, so it just ends up being a huge clan of fail..not insulting pot heads btw, they're far better than the other two, just saying its a weird group of people. And then we have my group of gamers/4 or so metalheads, there are other "metalheads" but they think slipknot is an amazing metal band...with amazing musicians..I pity their ignorance.

| Slipknot was good once.. musicians are probably better then they play. Yeah, we were a small group of gamers. THis was in the LAN era. We spent weekend at eachothers houses playing pc or d&d.ned And we got drunk and listened to NU-metal. Shocker: I really like Limp Bizkit.

| Can't blame you actually, he helped me on my transformation to what I listen to now, still can't hate him. I've listened to much worse in the past, and I wasn't saying Slipknot is bad, but they aren't metal, and they aren't amazing as far as musicianship goes, and by that I mean the skill at which they play their instruments.

| Slipknots drummer is not better then Morbid Angels. I lol'd when someone told me that slipknot had the best drummer ever..multiple people actually.
