| Those people who walk really fast to get by you in the street, only to get 6 inches in front of you and walk slower than you are. That drives me absolutely mental.
- Pop culture passes me by whilst I pour my scorn upon it -

| Never had that happen, I've had people pass me driving and do that though...luckily I have a 98 eclipse so I just pass them back and leave them in the dust.

| Haven't done that one yet. One of mine would be people who brag constantly about their beating me in video games, when they win maybe 1/20 games.

| I don`t like people that won`t listen to reason. Those that stick to their argument even when it is disproved.

| Yes, it is another ego ting. Like Freud theorized. People can not admit defeat as it hurts the sub-conscious individual. The ego, as he called it. It is a defense mechanism, a natural instinct if you will. But here is the thing: If a person is aware of this, they usually don´t succumb to this. Why is it not something that is though in our schools? Is it hard to explain to people that a lot of irrationality may result from human nature? It is, after all, a form of survival instinct. Something that makes us animal. Maybe that is the problem. There are still fundamentalist groups around that don´t like the idea of humans being animals. A part of nature. Anyway. As it is now, a lot of the people I come across don´t have this self-insight, and can come of as arrogant. A philosopher once said(Kant I think, but I can be wrong), a person can accept that someone is more intelligent/knowledgeable than himself, but will still see himself as wiser. I find that true, even with myself.
