Yeah, this is a movie, I know. But, in my defence, it's one of the best I have seen in a while, probably since Michael Clayton.

 

I will start off by saying some of the negatives. I believe that it was actually too short. Maybe it should have been 2 or 3 movies, but I felt too much was compressed into the 2h 40m timeframe. It sounds ridiculous, but if you see it, you may agree. Also, I personally felt more time should have been spent on Dr. Manhattan. He stole the show for me, he is so complex and disturbed by his knowledge, he is very interesting. Three is also alot of violeence, which I found was mayb a little to graphic for my tastes. Lastly, well, I will say there is no lack of male nudity...

 

Now, the positives. This film looks AMAZING. No doubt,  one of the best looking films of all time. Some of the effects were truly unreal. Eyepopping glory. The story is amazing as well. The one thing I loved, though, was Dr. Manhattan. Wow. He is quite the character. Refered to as God by some, he is an industructible, unbeatable, knowledgeable entity that is having a hard time coping with it. Rorschach was also a great character, albeit a little violent. He had a vry messed up background, and it really showed.

 

All in all, it was a very well put together movie. I would really recommend it.
