| Hya all:) I want to start of with a fallout thread.
Having been a longtime fan of the to first fallout titles I found much lacking from the latest bethesta game.
The poorly realized characters and downright silly quests made me consider this a third spinoff rather then the third game in the original series. Now, I am aware that fallout 3 is considered the second coming of jesus by many, so I am looking forward to hearing peoples opinions on the game.

| Hey Nixon. Yeah, personally, I have not played the original Fallout games, but I hear that they are very good. I think that the new one is really good, but it's just because Bethesda makes really good rpgs (IMO). I would really like to play the first two though, I am considering picking them up..

| You are in for a treat, I can tell you that. It is a bit weird to play an isometric, low graphic game, but when it crawls under your skin, it stays there. I still play the originals. And they still blow my mind. Added (2009-01-11, 5:29 Pm)

And if fallout is a favorite, then I highly recommend DEFCON. It is the most brilliant nuclear war game I have ever played.
Directing ICBM´s on a strategic screen with the most eerie music ever set to a game.

| Fallout 3 was better than I expected, but the ending just enraged me to an otherwise beautiful story. Thankfully, the upcoming DLC will include 'lots of new things and finally removing the endings otherwise "dick move" of what it does to you.

| Yeah, but they probably have no gas. Unless they run on solar, which may have been shorted out in the initial blast.

| Yeah, I guess so. I don't think it's worth it, b/c the cars probably run on solar, as the nuclear holocaust was in the late 2000s.

| If they were to add a car it should be made from salvaged parts. Like the car in Fallout 2. You had to find to rare items to make it work. Added (2009-01-16, 9:07 Pm)
