| havn't tried gears yet but im currently loving fallout, just a really vivid story and tons of stuff to do, well worth the hundreds of hours of playtime you get for only 60 bucks

| Anyways, just removed some posts, Jlance. They were really off topic. Hehe, when I was making this thred, I couldn't think of 10 good games of 2008 So, I through Too Human in there for fun. And an others section. I was just playing Fallout, it is soooooooo good. I recommend it to everybody.

| Ya, I would definitely recommend it. I still haven't beaten it, with the release of Fable 2 and Fallout 3. It has a really solid feel to it though, and it'll easily immerse you.

| I've seen a lot about L4D, but it's a horror game.. Totally overshadowed by Dead Space. From what I've seen, Dead Space is like a Lamborghini, whereas L4D is like a Toyota.

| L4D is supposed to be a great co-op game, so if you want co-op, get it. Dead Space is for someone wanting single player experience.
