The gameplay is fun at the start, it is turn based like original Final Fantasy games. The leveling system is peculiar, where the xp is limited/restrained after so much in one area, to reduce grinding. The story is alright, I got the first disc done before I quit some 2 hours into the second.

But you should rent it to try it out, many people like this game.
